When you copy something you want to keep, paste it into Corkboard-or better yet, just drag your important data right to Corkboard from almost any application. Even if Corkboard doesn`t know how to show that data, it`ll still hold onto it for you. Never again do you need to risk losing it all.
Move into your powerhouse.
Corkboard takes full advantage of the technologies in Apple`s latest operating system, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Through Core Animation and Core Image, you get the same fluid, intuitive motion you find in Mac OS X components like Dashboard, Expose, or Time Machine.
Windows in the background soften and blur. If your Mac is a little less powerful, Corkboard automatically scales back these effects to keep everything running smoothly.
If you have a Mac with a PowerPC G5, Intel Core 2 Duo, or Intel Xeon processor, you`ll get an extra boost out of Corkboard`s 64-bit support. Most applications on Mac OS X live in a 32-bit world, and that`s fine, but it`s a waste of good microcircuitry if your Mac can do more.
Corkboard is built native from the start for 64-bit processors and their much higher memory capacity. What does this mean for you? You can store that many more clippings just a keystroke away. It`s a win-win situation.
Extensibly awesome
Developers shouldn`t feel left out in the cold either. Corkboard provides a rich plug-in framework that supports the addition of new data types. You can include Corkboard interpreters in application bundles the same way you include Spotlight importers and Quick Look generators.
